Shodex columns are used in High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) for the analysis of compounds in liquid samples. The HPLC columns are mainly packed with polymer-based particles and offer unique and alternative performance for all major separation techniques. Features
Usually, the polymer-based HPLC columns show several advantages:
- pH stability for polymer-based columns is mostly pH 2-13
- longer lifetime because the material itself shows strong chemical resistance
- very low or negligible bleeding which makes them appropriate for mass spectrometry (MS), light scattering (LS) and charged aerosol detectors
