Resonac Holdings Corporation (President and CEO: Hidehito Takahashi, hereinafter “Resonac”) has been selected as an “SX Brand 2026” by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (hereinafter “METI”) and the Tokyo Stock Exchange (hereinafter “TSE”). This marks the second consecutive year that the company has received this recognition, which acknowledges its efforts to enhance corporate value through sustainability initiatives.
The “SX Brands” program is designed by METI and TSE to select leading companies that enhance their ability to generate sustainable growth resources through Sustainability Transformation (SX), thereby achieving enhanced corporate value.
In this year’s selection, Resonac was primarily recognized for the following two key points:
- Under its Purpose, “Change society through the power of chemistry,” the company has been driving corporate transformation through strong leadership from top management, while clearly communicating its management vision, implementing a long-term strategy, and conducting strategic investor relations activities.
- It has demonstrated a firm commitment to executing portfolio transformation based on clear evaluation criteria, including, for example, a partial spin-off of its petrochemical business.
Resonac is driven by the formula “Corporate Value = Strategy × Individual Abilities × Corporate Culture,” which will further enhance our competitiveness. Furthermore, by promoting co-creation, we will continue to produce world-class technologies and products.
